I had a frustrating experience checking in. Our room was not ready upon arrival, and we were asked to return after an hour. When we did come back, it was still unavailable, and we were sent to a neighboring hotel without a pool. I was highly disappointed that we faced multiple issues just to enjoy the pool, which ultimately lacked available towels after hours of waiting.

i was shocked to find the pool colder than the arctic, despite the staff's insistence it was a balmy 80 degrees. not to mention, my wake-up call mysteriously decided to arrive an hour too early. if only there had been some effort for, oh, i don't know, complimentary cookies to soothe my frayed nerves?

staying here was a delight! the staff exceeded my expectations with their attentiveness and the breakfast options were plentiful, especially the fresh muffins. the hotel’s cleanliness and the comfortable king room made my trip to cookeville enjoyable overall.
